About this retreat
The Tibetan Buddhist Society of Canberra offers meditation classes, Buddhist philosophy courses, and retreats both in person in Canberra and online. Guided by Lama Choedak Rinpoche, who has taught Buddhism in the West for over 30 years, the centre draws on the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. Options range from free weekly Sunday meditation sessions to 8-week courses and an annual 10-day Calm Abiding Meditation Retreat. Emotional intelligence courses are also available. Suitable for complete beginners through to experienced practitioners, the centre welcomes people of all backgrounds regardless of religious affiliation.
