Vijayaloka Buddhist Retreat Centre, run by the Sydney Buddhist Centre, has offered meditation and spiritual retreats in Australia for nearly forty years. Located in a natural bushland setting, the centre hosts a diverse year-round calendar including beginner introductory weekends, mindfulness meditation retreats, recovery and eleventh-step retreats, Qi Gong weekends, and community retreats for Order members and mitras. Retreats range from two to ten nights, with pricing generally between $75 and $675 per person. The centre welcomes people of all experience levels, with dedicated retreats for specific communities including women, men, queer people, people of colour, and those in recovery. The facilities are currently undergoing renovation to serve the next generation of practitioners.
